The former Jack-Tar hotel of the 60s has been newly reopened as Unscripted with 74 rooms and suites to provide the perfect canvas for guests to color their travel experience. For our debut property, Unscripted has planted its flag in Durham, North Carolina and given its historic location on 202 N Corcoran Street a second life as a vibrant, community-focused hospitality destination. Formerly the Jack Tar Hotel that operated in the 1960s, Unscripted Durham offers 74 boutique rooms and suites. Unscripted features allday, a full service grab and go coffee shop and restaurant, The Patio, a seasonal rooftop pool that offers a full service restaurant and bar and The Studio, where you can grab the perfect craft cocktail and enjoy a variety of shareable plates. Additional on-site outlets include Jack Tar and The Colonel's Daughter and Pour Taproom. It is Hyatts practice to enter any occupied guest room at a minimum of once within a 24 hour period, even if a guest has requested privacy. Appropriate efforts are made to provide advance notice to the registered guest before entering an occupied guest room. 10 pct commission is payable to all qualified agencies on eligible rates upon checkout and actualization of room bill. Commission is paid up to 29 days only. If a guest stays longer than 30 days commission will be paid for the first 29 days of the stay.
